About John

For a large part of my life I have been actively involved in business and commerce, the latter of those years have been in the technology sector.

I was married at the age of 23 and I am still married to the same person after 36 years. I have 3 grown up sons and 5 grandchildren who all reside in the United Kingdom. I was also born in the United Kingdom but I now reside in South West France where I love to be involved and appreciate the culture the community alongwiththe sunshine.

From when I had memories I have had faith in the existence of something far greater than this one life we focus on. My faith was a knowing that God or as I now know to be the Source, was absolute.

I was raised in a small English Christian community and as a child I understood the biblical and child like teachings of Christianity which I was taught at that time.

During my life my desire to know more about God has been relentless and I have deliberately and consciously set out on a journey to understand more. I have a basic understanding of all main stream religions and there are very real messages within them all, a wheel with many spokes, where pieces of truth lie at the end of each spoke and The Source lies in the hub.

It is very difficult and indeed arrogant of us to question others and their lives if we have no understanding of our own, this been our own emotions and feelings that we endure as we navigate through our existence.

We are informed by the man in the cave that we must understand self and by understanding self we will understand others and by understanding others we can then forgive them, embrace them and then love them.

This been because we are all created from source energy, we are all the same thing.

When I met Philippe a few years ago we decided to meditate, for me it was a practice I engaged in to find time to understand myself and to find peace in my life.

I never dreamed it would be journey it turned into.

On this journey I have discovered much more and through the book, The Man In The Cave, Philippe and I can share our journey with you.
